Speak In Code

A bit of a hidden gem, Speak In Code can be found tucked away off a Deansgate side street, a beautifully cosy little spot that channels its inner industrial New Yorker to absolute perfection, with its darkened corners, brick-lined walls and neverending hip hop playlist. 

All the cocktails are vegan with a sustainable focus, so you’re sure to find something you’ve never tried before. Winner!

The Jane Eyre

Located in Cutting Room Square in Ancoats, the Jane Eyre is always a fun place to visit, with delicious takes on classic cocktails that really showcase the artisan ingredients from which they’re crafted. Indoor and outdoor seating means you’ll always find a spot to sit and the Mediterranean menu will help you soak up all the booze.

For something truly special, you’ve got to head skyward and check out what 20 Stories on Hardman Street has to offer. The views of the city are second to none, the cocktails are delicious and there’s food on offer too – but be warned that it does get busy, so you might prefer to head there in the early afternoon if you don’t want to fight for space at the bar.
